Taxi vouchers for our Seniors

Something new is happening for ALL economically deserving Senior citizens in Montebello. The Village Board is working with the Village of Suffern's Community Foundation to provide assistance to qualified seniors for transportation to medical appointments (including the hospital) via taxi service. The Board adopted a Resolution to implement this program at the July 13th meeting and to appropriate $4,800 per annum for the budget going forward. As part of the Resolution, the Board allocated on a pro rata basis $2,400 for the remainder of this fiscal year.
